in the humble opinion of this developer, the material icon theme is a thing of beauty. however, the chrome/ff extension that magically beautifies files/folders in github is not supported in safari 😔.

yeah, but i’m a web user as well. almost every dev i know uses a third party browser for their work, and probably most of their personal devices — for those in the know, it’s great having all the coolest toys and cutting edge features. however, every other non-dev i know uses whatever came on their device.
we [devs] often talk about how users are our first priority. well, not experiencing the web how our users see it is a huge lost opportunity to find where everyday tools miss the mark. so while i do use chrome for some development work (devtools are quite nice) and testing, i use safari for the majority of my work and personal use.
and dammit, i love pretty icons.
